App never loads properly. Fails to show the most recent issue or any issue at all for that matter. You are better off spending the extra dollar or two and buying the actual physical copy.

Folks - Apple app store is mis-guiding you by saying its FREE. Nothing is free - just the app icon - you have to pay the same retail price as you pay on stands. There is really no savings subscribing here.

Downloaded ios6 on the weekend. Went to read my latest mag and the app closes after the magazine opens. Tried to open it 6 times - Same thing everytime. Whats the fix?? Subscription renewal is coming up but wont be renewing if I cant read it on my iPad

Good app. Adding Retina Display support for the new iPad would make it perfect!

Nothing but problems, and I cannot download the magazine. Its the only app I have ever had an issue with.I have written twice to Apple, no response. I have phoned and they want $35.00 for over the phone help for a magazine that you pay for on iTunes.

I got the free trial for my wife of this magazine (1 month) and right away we realized the app doesnt yet fully support the new iPads retina display. Graphics and text looked pixelated and low resolution, so much so that the paper equivalent looks 10 times better. Its a shame as other magazines we subscribe to look amazing in comparison. Needless to say, we cancelled the trial and will wait until they update it for retina displays until we subscribe. Took 2 stars away for their lazy work.

Very handy when travelling. Especially if I have my iPad anyway...

I love that its cheaper than the paper copy, its better for the environment and I can read it before it hits new stands!

ipad version is great. Love the extra pictures and stories. Much easier to read than the magazine

Get so many extras with iPad edition including preview of reviewed songs and buy now option!

Just wish the preview pages didnt have that awful, heavy watermarking on it - you cant get an idea of the quality of the pages (also seems pointless to watermark such a small bit of content). Took a chance and purchased the SMA issue. Nice quality - pages are very sharp looking. Magazine is kinda pricy for a digital copy. Costs me $25 for a year of Entertainment Weekly, but more than double that that for just 6 months of People. Even for a one-off purchase it is still pricy - many charge $1.99, $2.99 for a single digital copy, but not People. If they were to review the pricing and move it more in line with other similar weeklies, I would subscribe. I really enjoy the magazine, but not enough to want to subscribe at this price for a digital magazine.
